I'm a secondary maths teacher, and I've built a free site of KS3 and GCSE resources: full lesson decks, worksheets built on faded scaffolding, puzzles and end-of-unit tests.
No sign-up and no paywall. Take whatever's useful.

My year 11s had a go at this lovely Dr Austin task today - Recognising graphs. They not been exposed loads to cubic of reciprocal graphs so did find it hard at time but most of them got there in the end.
In #MathsToday, Year 13 did some exam practice of Differential Equations.
This was a nice opportunity to link in some of their other Pure/Core Pure topics.
Heads up for a free online lecture by Sarah Hart this afternoon (15th Oct, 17:30): A History of the World in Four Algorithms: https://www.gresham.ac.uk/whats-on/history-algorithms

I'm testing out board generation for this mode. I'm liking how this plays out. I was able to fill all but 7 hexes through simple subtraction. But now, there is a small triangular system to solve!
Can you do it? Rules in the QP
Let me know if you like this!
Shocked my further maths class in #MathsToday by writing:
157
-138
-----
2 -1
They were decidedly not impressed.
In #MathsToday I cannot believe the number of teaching hours I have already lost (all years), for various extra curricular reasons, and we are only mid-October.

First time using Ai today to help get questions (I'm reasonably anti Ai)
Gave the Ai 7 questions of what I was looking for and it did manage to create some ok stuff.
Couldn't find questions on the topic from actual humans (which I would have preferred)
In #MathsToday, Y13 kept on keeping on with Differential Equations and, while helping a Y12 with some trig at the lunchtime Maths Clinic, I had some fun exploring the joys of the unit citcle.
#MathsToday we were discussing careers today? Do you do anything with KS5 that links to careers especially linking to specific topics? Good sites for videos etc. I know there's the maths careers website but I'm interested in what you do as a department to share the ideas. Thanks
In #MathsToday I went slightly mad and described quadratics that don't equal zero as "having no rizz". At least they remembered it?
Also started chanting frequency polygon (midpoint, frequency). Yr 11 mocks frying my brain.
In #MathsToday, Year 10 did some averages with fractions:
interwovenmaths.com/averages-wit...
This was one of the original Interwoven Maths tasks when the site launched, and I still love the different fraction skills it requires, e.g. finding the midpoint of two fractions in the third column.

Year 10 have been working on negative fractional indices today. I've really been liking these Maths helper questions, they are really good for a Set 1.
More IMC problems today. This time without presenting the multiple choice responses, and two similar problems which allowed weaker students to have something to base their ideas on. It was much more productive. #mathstoday
