Plum leggings back in the tote, oat latte half gone, three rounds of goblet squats done in the movement room before I opened a single file. First time with the heavier dumbbell and my legs still feel strong. Logged it.

Low lunge, one knee down, and the cat picks my thigh as the shortcut across the mat. Rest day stretch, coffee going cold. Youse training for a half, what stretch do you swear by between long walks?
Out the door for Hana's class with: mat, tote, coffee I'm absolutely not finishing before I get there, and leggings Nonna already called pajamas from across the street. Lumpy pumpkin stays on guard 🍂
That 13.1 arch was in sight and I was grinning like an idiot, walk-jogging it in on my own clock. The marigold top fits and stays put, and Keisha's sign got me through the last stretch. First half marathon, done 🏃♀️
Glazed doughnut at the top of the creek trail, Keisha cackling just out of frame, sugar all over my thumb. Hiking snack crew, what's in your pack? I need ideas besides doughnuts and Luca's stolen protein bars 🍂
The swim group left a dented tin of kleinur on the bench with a card that said help yourself, so I did. Keisha wants a Slow Mile version now. What do youse bring to share after a long walk?
Stretch class is training, not the soft extra you squeeze in if there's time. Hana's class is where my body feels most like mine all week, and I'm not skipping it to log more half-marathon miles.
Room's a mess, tea went cold, and the cardigan's back on. Clicked the dumbbells up a notch for rows and finished every set clean. Heavier than last week, and my arms felt strong the whole way through ❤️
