Turns out that The Damned female infantry from @wargamesatlantic.bsky.social are every bit as fun to assemble and paint as the blokes. In a double shout-out, these are entirely John Blanche Masterclass paints from @thearmypainter.bsky.social - I don't think I quite channeled him yet!

"The front right view of a Grot tank painted in the Blue and white colors of the Deathskulls klan of Orks. Visible weld marks are present along the main gun and a scavenged red barrel that houses a number of exhaust stacks, rivets securing a number of extra armor plates, field repairs, and decorative "teef". Looted guard equipment is hanging from the tank's turret, and a skull is mounted at the top of the tanks antenna. The tank treads are caked in orange red dust kicked up from the environment.""The front right view of a Grot tank painted in the Blue and white colors of the Deathskulls klan of Orks. Three model Age of Sigmar Skeleton Warriors with spears are spread out across a golden brown cemetery. In the middle of the scene a ruined fountain and an open treasure chest frame a large, weathered, mossy stone statue. The background of the scene is littered with gravestones and bushes. In the distance stone ruins can be seen atop rugged hills.

A ghastly gathering of Nighthaunt, haunting the cold mountainside.
Had a lot of fun painting these ghosties, went for more of a traditional spooky old photograph Sepia color scheme for them. 👻

The Anvil Industry 'Lightning Witch' painted up using @thearmypainter.bsky.social John Blanche range (and Plate Mail Metal!). Happy enough with that, though she isn't quite what I had in mind; I should have kept my palette tighter, and leaned into the white/bone or just gone red.

Yep, I think that's a wrap on this little project! I've really enjoyed putting this together, and I can't believe it's only taken five days! Now back to the drawing board to plan the next creation! #Nerdlings #JHBackdrops
