The Canadiens aren't missing much to win consistently. The devil is in the details.

My latest article for @Thehockeynews is all about Kaiden Guhle and the bigger role he's currently playing with the Habs: thehockeynews.com/nhl/montreal... #GoHabsGo #CH #Canadiens #Habs #THN

Great running into Melinda Barnes, one of biggest #Habs fans I have ever met, at practice this morning in Brossard. Melinda and her husband live in San Diego but visit Montreal often to cheer on their favourite team. Here's link to column I wrote on them. montrealgazette.com/sports/hocke...

Therapy day for #Habs Juraj Slafkovský; he will not practice

So #Habs fans...

Who sits if Kapanen is ready tomorrow?

And where do you put him in the lineup?

#GoHabsGo

#Habs will practice today in Brossard at 10:30am

Day 17 of the #NHL season

And the #GoHabsGo are NOT in a playoff spot!
😔😢😭

A lot of 3 point games last night. #Habs now 2 pts out, sitting 13th in the #Eastern Conference.

One more day to mull it over before entering almost a “must win” tomorrow night.

Days in a playoff spot: 8

The annual Hockey Inside/Out Fan Summit will be in Montreal this weekend, bringing together Canadiens fans from far and wide for an event that's always a lot of fun #Habs: montrealgazette.com/sports/hocke...

Bottom Six Minutes: Are we worried about Jakub Dobeš? #Habs #GoHabsGo #MontrealCanadiens

As I write this, I know that some will be chomping at the bit to put a negative spin on it, and even attack me for it.

Fact is I love Fowler, and I have a very strong liking for Dobeš.

I'm just against overblowing things to pin one against the other.

#GoHabsGo #Habs

Admittedly, I have a bit of an issue when fans (or media) claim that Jacob Fowler is "the hot goalie".

Yes, Dobeš is struggling this season and Fowler has been more consistent. Hotter, yes. But one really hot game doesn't qualify as overall "hot".

#GoHabsGo #Habs

I don’t why KH did not sign Desharnais this summer. #habs

Montreal needs a right-shot defenceman, but not simply to add another name to the roster. There's a hockey reason why playing on your natural side matters, and the Canadiens are living it night after night. #GoHabsGo #Habs

Nick Suzuki and Tim Hortons are back at it this season, details in my latest article for @Thehockeynews: thehockeynews.com/nhl/montreal... #GoHabsGo #CH #Canadiens #Habs #THN

A lot made of Dobes' rough start. As goalies go, 25 is still young. Last yr was his first year experiencing the big time. If we thought he wasn't going to have some snags along the way, we weren't being realistic. Luckily, we have Fowler to pick him up, & vise versa when Dobes turns it around. #Habs

The dead-last #LGRW are now just one point behind the #Habs. That is not a typo. The #GoHabsGo are a single point away from the Atlantic Division basement. They better turn this around fast if my prediction of them winning the division stands a chance.
