It’s interesting how classic #isekai mangas (from the 90’s omfg 😭) like #AnatoliaStory and #FromFarAway are all suddenly getting #anime adaptations. But I’m honestly not sure the stories aged well or translate very well to the screen… or maybe it’s just the voice acting that stinks

Finally getting around to watching & taking some notes of the first 2 episodes of From Far Away's anime adaptation

and sadly, it's not good 😞 #FromFarAway #KanataKara

From Far Away Ep 2 Review #KanataKara #FromFarAway #anime

#FromFarAway ep.2
-Good ep.
-Noriko trying to learn Izark's language were very good scenes. Glad it's not through a magic spell.
-Also loved how Izark is accommodating Noriko.
-Izark battling the teleporting bandit were fun scenes.
-The buildup to The Awakening looks interesting.

Hehehe, now the fun begins! #FromFarAway

I've always loved that bit of Izark and Noriko repeating things back and forth until she gets it #FromFarAway

Geena is one of my favorite characters #FromFarAway

Of course Rachef thinks Keimos sounds great #FromFarAway

*blink*

I thought Geena's name was pronounced with a hard G all this time. #FromFarAway

Agol, you're a decent dude. But you somehow haven't realized you're working for terrible people before now. #FromFarAway

Geena! #FromFarAway

"The doctor's busy."
"No, it's fine, come in. They don't need me anymore. It's the undertaker's turn."

That moment has always been chilling. #FromFarAway

I love the little added detail of Noriko successfully giving the merchant water when he asks after she realizes what the word he says means #FromFarAway

This sequence is so good. Noriko almost gets lost in helplessness, but when she realizes what she CAN do to take control of her situation, she finds her direction. Linguistics time! #FromFarAway

This period of Izark and Noriko bonding despite the language barrier is so sweet. #FromFarAway

The animation is limited, but I think it's working well enough, this is a decent fight #FromFarAway

Oh that's Silent Mask in the opening. We are going to volume 7, aren't we? #FromFarAway
