It was one of many places for people to come together, organise and fight. These spaces are increasingly being taken away from us, and the state is striving to destroy any form of self-organisation. Public space is increasingly being monitored and sold off, whilst resistance to this is met with massive repression. The Meuterei is one of many examples from recent years and symbolises the sell-off of the city and the attempt to eliminate the antagonistic movement. In May 2025, the Meuterei was reoccupied in solidarity with the defendants in the Ambelokoipi trial and in memory of our friend and comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris, who fell in the struggle. This action was an attempt to proactively bring together those who have revitalised, co-organised and fought for the Meuterei. The action demonstrated the solidarity of our struggles for liberation, and our determination to stand together and fight, from Berlin to Athens to Palestine. Many people turned out to support the reoccupation with a rally and showed solidarity with those who were kettled, beaten up and, in some cases, taken away by the police. In the aftermath, several comrades were taken to the police station by the police and faced various charges. Whilst all charges of trespass have now been dropped, the state continues to pursue charges of breach of the peace, assault and resisting law enforcement officers. Sie war einer von vielen Orten des Zusammenkommens, des Organisierens und Kämpfens. Diese Räume werden uns mehr und mehr genommen und der Staat bemüht sich, jede Art der Selbstorganisierung zu vernichten. Der öffentliche Raum wird zunehmend überwacht und ausverkauft, der Widerstand dagegen mit massiver Repression überzogen. Die Meuterei ist eines von vielen Beispielen der letzten Jahre und steht sinnbildlich für den Ausverkauf der Stadt und den Versuch, die antagonistische Bewegung zu eliminieren. Im Mai 2025 wurde in Solidarität mit denAngeklagten im Ambelokoipi-Verfahren und in Gedenken an unseren im Kampf gefallenen Freund und Gefährten Kyriakos Xymitiris die Meuterei wiederbesetzt. Diese Aktion war ein Versuch, offensiv diejenigen zusammenzubringen, die die Meuterei belebt, mitorganisiert und für sie gekämpft haben. Die Aktion hat die Verbundenheit unserer Kämpfe zur Befreiung gezeigt, und unseren Willen zusammen zu stehen und zu kämpfen, von Berlin, nach Athen, nach Palästina. Viele Menschen sind gekommen und haben die Wiederbesetzung mit einer Kundgebung unterstützt und sich solidarisch mit denjenigen gezeigt, die von den Cops gekesselt, verprügelt und teilweise mitgenommen wurden. Im Nachgang wurden mehrere Genoss*innen von den Bullen in die GeSa gebracht und haben unterschiedliche Anzeigen bekommen.
