Here's some explanation why I draw female ghosts' faces that way

HOW I DRAW PAC-MAN
GHOSTS' FACES

If you've seen one of my Pac-Man-related drawings featuring at least one of the ghost girls, you may have noticed that their faces don't look like this:

*we see a face looking more like male ghosts' but with eyelashes to indicate she's a girl*

Instead, they look like this:

*we see a face where she now has unique cuter features, not just looking the same as boys but with eyelashes*

So, why is that? Well, there's a reason for this:

This is actually to make female ghosts more distinctive than male ghosts, here's a comparison:

*we see an angry male face (which is typically Blinky's)*
- Smaller eyes
- Larger mouth
- Basically the same as Bandai Namco's art

*we see a happy female face*
- Aside from eyelashes, bigger eyes
- Smaller mouth (don't think that makes girls less expressive)
- Cuter face that's not just "the same face as males but with obvious eyelashes"

And that might explain why girls' faces look different than boys' faces, that wasn't the case with my cruder older drawings, where the girls' faces were basically the same but with eyelashes.

*we see Pinky singing next to Crush winking at the viewer*

NOTE: This is not unique for female ghosts, for example, my Ms. Pac-Man design has similar features

A proximate cause is the last #cause nearest to the #effect in a causal chain. Often it is seen as irrelevant for only the 1st cause should be important. Right? New blog: philosophybytheway.blogspot.com/2026/10/prox...

A cute girl with red hair and three columns of dense text that exceeds the maximum of 2000 words allowed on Bluesky for alt texts, sorry.
