A new beta build is out with many improvements for GRIB files with large number of messages (ex. a year of hourly #ERA5), #WRF files (time steps dated from the `Times` string array) and much more.

#Copernicus meldete erst diese Woche, dass August 2026 mit 16,96 °C der heißeste August der #ERA5-Reihe war und praktisch gleichauf mit Juli 2023 als wärmster überhaupt beobachteter Monat liegt. Er lag 1,65 °C über 1850–1900. Gleichzeitig erreichten die außertropischen #Ozeane einen Augustrekord.

#Copernicus hat gerade die Augustdaten vollständig ausgewertet.

August 2026 war global gemeinsam mit Juli 2023 der wärmste Monat der #ERA5-Reihe. Die globale Oberflächentemperatur lag etwa 1,65 °C über dem vorindustriellen Niveau.
