Once upon a time in #EastKilbride there was a pond; green space that accumulated water by constant raining in EK
I explored it one day & a #dragonfly came to me; curious buzzing aroon me amongst the reeds.
Today the pond is gone.
Dragonfly no more.
Filled in by tarmac for Warehouses.

#Britain was once covered in #trees before humans cut them doon. #Woodpigeons dominated those ancient forests & their loud calls evolved to communicate with other wood pigeons unsighted in other trees.
EK has many birds & Wood pigeons are very common.

EK is far bigger than Stirling, & has a greater population denied local democracy by #Tory reforms in 1996, & Scots Devolution from 1999, & #SNP Gov since 2007.

Buildings smaller
We have more roundabouts.
We have less pollution
