This may explain the penalty situation .... 148 games of experience in the crew working the game tonight #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

A bad deflection as Novoselov comes out to play the puck on the PK ties the game back at one. #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

End of 2nd, Eagles up 1-0: We have 20 penalties resulting in 12 PP total and one goal between the two clubs. Eagles PK is doing a great job and so is Novoselov. Clean up the game and stay out of the box, give the special teams a rest. #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Each yellow block is a penalty, so special teams have been huge tonight. Eagles are heading to a partial PP after Makar was hooked #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Sean Behrens lays out for the block and avoid the puck getting to Novoselov in this fantastic block! #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Although Nikita Novoselov has seen only 8 shots so far, he has played well so far. He is SOOOOO much calmer than his 1st start in Tucson and he is moving with a heck of lot more confidence #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

end of 1st, Eagles up 1-0: That was... a period. There were 46 PIMs resulting in 6 power plays. COL is only one to score so far on one. They have been throwing EVERYTHING at the net, outshooting MIL 14-5. Plug the up the blue line and thats it #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

One thing that Cooper Gay has learned to do with his size in the pro game is finish hits, and finish hit he did at the end of this play #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

Another PP comes up for the Eagles as Tyson Jost goes to the box for high-stick on Sean Behrens. Eagles are 1/2 so far tonight. Eagles are outshooting MIL 9-3 with 8:35 left in the 1st and lead 1-0 #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry @HockeyMtnHighCO

WE HAVE TWO FIGHTS! Keaton Middleton drops them with Kyle Marino. Both get 5 for fighting. Jake Wise and Oasiz Wiesblatt get 5 for fighting and 10 minutes for game misconduct so they are both done for the night #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry

TRISTAN NIELSEN on the PP gets the puck to dribble through and take the lead early in the game for his second goal of the game!! Domenick Fensore (7), Vinnie Hinostroza (3) on the assists #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry

Eagles head to their first PP of the night as Brady Martin goes for hooking. #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry

Former Avs Tyson Jost and Chase Bradley are in the lineup for the Admirals. Trent Miner is on the trip but has been a healthy scratch. #Avs #GoAvsGo #EaglesCountry
