#DVPit

We were a bit late to the party this year, but if you get a like from us today, please email [email protected] with:
-A query letter
-A synopsis (1–2 pages)
-The first 5–10 pages of your manuscript pasted in the body of the email

Be sure to include "DVPit" in your subject line!

So my #DVpit pitches flopped badly. I feel discouraged and want to give up on querying

Almost 2300 words written in Dragon World today! Finished chap13 and got a goodly way into chap14. I didn't make my #DVPit deadline with it, but I'm nearly at the halfway mark so yay! #AmWriting #Fantasy #LGBTQIA+

One comparison is all it takes if it lands. Still rooting for the twins. Did #DVPit bring any agent interest your way?

My one #DVPit like is now a form rejection.

Back to basics, I guess.

#AmQuerying

I am still closed to queries but I am belatedly liking some 2026 #DVPIT pitches. Please feel free to send me anything I've liked. Please include "DVPIT" in the subject line, and submit according to these instructions: tinyurl.com/QueryAnna

Hey #DVpit folx.

I was one of many agents who was traveling last week, so I'll be reviewing pitches today and tomorrow! If you get a like from me, please sent your query and first ten pages here: querytracker.net/query/chelse...

I wish to all of you writers who got liked by agents in #Dvpit - all the very best to you for you life and future endeavours. And for those like me who failed, well - we are writers - made of dreams , imagination and lust and we bleed stardust man...
So Cheers and see ya next year!

A poem for latest #DVpit Part - I
" ...And then again as we feel deeply hurt on our destiny
we mustn't forget that we are writers, children of imagination and lust
For our words may not be enough to start a mutiny
But we shall always be made of words and fucking stardust."

Hi #DVPit! I was traveling last week, so I'm excited to be checking the feed today! If I like your post and you think we'd be a good fit, please share your query and full manuscript using my QM event form querytracker.net/query/Chelse...

Congratulations to everyone who participated, and good luck!

When fourteen-year-old Eva discovers the world of Dracula is real, she plunges into an underbelly of monster hunters and mystery. With a mythical student and her grandfather missing, Eva must uncover her Van Helsing family’s secrets before an evil lord escapes. #MG #F #SouthAsian #DVpit

This is my 1st time participating in this year’s #DVPit at Bluesky!! My pitch has been the most weird, female rage type of speculative thriller with tarot-infused combining theological horror!! Probably only fearless agents + editor will click “❤️” 😅 Still, thanks for the “like”, repost + comments! 😉

I’m so glad I got to participate in #DVpit this year! Thank you to the event organizers, volunteers, and especially each kind writer that makes this event special ❤️

Thanks to everyone who mediated #DVPit! A big well done to anyone who got interest from agents, but also a big well done to those who didn't this time round. Don't get disheartened. Remember, you are writing for you, not for anyone else ♥️

For my Upper Middle Grade high fantasy at #DVpit, I created artwork but it was meant for fun. I didn’t feel the pressure of finding ways to conjure up pro-level graphics.

I enjoyed creating art and pitching my book at #DVpit 🙂🙂

#DVPit was incredible!! There were so many amazing pitches and everyone should be proud of themselves for putting their work out there! I'm still reeling over the fact that I got four likes! 🥳

Still seeing so many fun #DVPit pitches in my stream today, and I’m loving cheering everyone on!

What a wonderful pitch event. Thank you to the #DVPit team and all the wonderful authors and illustrators who participated to make it so enjoyable.

Now that it's over, I want to share some slides I made since images were discouraged during the event. Namely character art and comps slide. 🧡

I had so much fun joining #DVpit yesterday and pitching properly for the first time!

I didn't receive a like (yet🤞😄) but a big congrats to everyone who did, your pitches all looked amazing!
