Even after a week and a half off, the #CSURams is still a disaster. The Bobcats had a school record 716 yards and 10 straight scoring drives (9 TDs) at one point. CSU is now 2-4 in Jim Mora's first season. I don't really know what else to say.

I missed almost the entire first half because I was at men's hoops practice (hey that team is gonna be good!) but another disaster showing for the #CSURams defense. A three-and-out to start but 6 straight TD drives after and they trail Texas State 45-21 at at halftime. YIKES.

#CSURams are back from the first of two "mini byes" as they visit Texas State for the first time in the first Pac-12 road trip. Defensive changes are done, now comes the first big test against yet another explosive offense.

Jim Mora says postgame that Tyson Summers was relieved of defensive play-calling duties and left the field. He's no longer with the #CSURams program.

USA Network broadcast says Tyson Summers is no longer on #CSURams sideline and CO-DC Kenny McClendon is calling defensive plays.

Halftime in Fort Collins: Oregon State 35, Colorado State 14

The #CSURams defensive woes have not been solved. In fact, it may be worse. The Beavers have 385 yards and TDs on 5 of 6 drives. CSU has over 100 rushing yards, but it doesn't matter when the other team can score like that.

Start of Pac-12 play this week means availability reports. #CSURams are listing QB Hauss Hejny as questionable. There are whole host of players listed as "probable" but I won't update unless they're downgraded. Two key Rams are doubtful: DB Elijah Mc-Cantos and OL Jayden Tuia.

The #CSURams' first men's hoops schedule in the Pac-12 is here. Begins at home vs. Texas State, then it's an immediate road trip to face Gonzaga and San Diego State. Return game against the Zags closes the regular season. Should be a lot of fun.

Offense looks more than fine even without QB Hauss Hejny as K'Saan Farrar throws for nearly 350 yards, but #CSURams defense has major, major issues and gives up nearly 550 yards and allows 8 scoring drives. Next up: vs. Oregon St.
