#CO8 voters told us they are worried about Evans' vote cut Medicaid, Rutinel's shifting positions on oil and gas and agriculture, and the plight of farmers struggling under tariffs.

Evans and Rutinel knew they'd face those questions. They declined to appear at the town hall.

#CO8 GOP Rep Gabe Evans and Manny Rutinel (D) have not agreed to a televised debate and would not take voter questions at a televised town hall.

So 9NEWS held the town hall without them.

Health care was a key focus with one family after another sharing how they're struggling.
