#Bugtober 2026: Day 11 - Cryptid

The issue with being a mimic species working with the species that you’re (unintentionally) mimicking is that you accidentally become the local cryptid.

#bugfables #bugfablesfanart #bugfablesoc #myart

A four panel comic featuring Apollyon and Clover.

In the first panel, Clover, an anthro blue banded bee, is walking with another generic bee. Both are in matching coats. The generic bee looks nervous and asks, “Clover, do you think something’s…wrong with the new recruit?”
Clover seems a little confused as she responds, “Why would I?”

The second panel moves over to Apollyon, an anthro death’s-head hawkmoth. They’re facing away from the viewer, happily getting ready to pick a book from a bookshelf. Offscreen, the generic bee continues with, “I don’t know… They’re weird though!”

The third panel is a larger one and shows Apollyon as a silhouette against a dark purple background. They’re now looking at the viewer over their shoulder with a thin pupil. The fluffier parts of their neck rough are sharper than they would normally be, and overall Apollyon is shown far more ominously than they actually appear to be.
Several text boxes from the other bee are placed around Apollyon saying,
“They’re too tall-“
“They don’t look like a bee-“
“They don’t smell like a bee…”
“What if they’re here to hurt us?!”

The fourth panel has Clover with an unamused expression as they look at the other bee. She tries to tell the other bee, “I literally had to save them from a seedling yesterday.
However, the other bee angrily cuts her off by yelling, “They’re still weird!”

Bugtober 2025 - Day 14 - Cave-In

I gotta be honest, I had no idea what to do for this prompt, haha.

#bugfables #comics

Cave-In
Panel 1
Team Snakemouth is in front of an area blocked with rocks.
Vi: A cave-in! Kabbu, you know what to do!
Kabbu: Leave it to me!
???: Did someone says 'What to do'???

Panel 2
It's Alphie in full color! Team Mothiva is in the background too.
"It's Alphie!"
"Stay in school!"
"He knows what to do!"

Panel 3
Everyone stares at Alphie, who is still posing.

Panel 4
Alphie starts to sweat.
Alphie: please help we've been trapped here for 2 weeks

#Bugtober 2026: Days 9 and 10 - Chill/Species Swap

Drew Leif, as well as Apollyon and Pan for this set! Apollyon and Pan look a bit different though…

#bugfables #bugfablesfanart #bugfablesoc #art

A digital artwork of Leif, an anthro moth, from Bug Fables in front of a dark blue textured background.
Leif is viewed from the side and is staring at something over his shoulder. One of his paws is held up as he uses magic to summon several shards of ice. Leif’s other arm is still under his wings and a slight view of his body is seen under them.
Leif is drawn to have red and light blue patterns on his wings, and a dark blue pattern along his brow line.

A digital artwork of Apollyon and Pan, two anthro bugs, interacting with each other. Apollyon, who is normally a death’s-head hawkmoth, is depicted as a tall Titan beetle with a chubby build. They are still wearing their gold framed round glasses. Apollyon looks nervous, almost like they can tell something is off, as they look down at Pan and rub the back of their head.
Pan, who is usually a goldsmith beetle, is now a short, stocky burnished brass moth wearing a desaturated red apron. Pan has a cheerful expression and is saying something to Apollyon.

#Bugtober Day 13 - God/Goddess

Pluto, God of Bountiful Wealth
Made a design concept for him since he's the only one of the Three Gods shown in Snakemouth Lab with no concrete design (Mars has the concept art and the Eastern Doll for a color palette)

#bugfablesoc #bugfables #bugfablesfanart

A yellow flower-like creature, with a clover like arrangement of their leaves, though rotated, with four leaves behind them, one of them on their stem.

One of their buds is shown, with a more clover like protrusion, with their leaves moving outwards like it's begging

Additionally! It's Tuesday again, which means that I've updated my Patreon! Technically speaking I also updated it last Thursday, but I was WAY too busy to do anything.

...Kabbu, what are you thinking this time.

#bugfables

A panel where Kabbu is explaining things, but Vi and Leif aren't having it.

Kabbu: ...and that's what ELSE could happen if we get caught!
Vi: Oh my G-... STOP, KABBU.

Bugtober 2025 - Day 13 - Test Subject

I did this once during this fight! The goal wasn't to win or anything, I just wanted to see how much total damage I could do, haha.

#bugfables #comics

Test Subject
Panel 1
Team Snakemouth is fighting Team Slacker.
Vi: Wait shut up shut up SHUT UP I wanna try something!
Stratos: We didn't say anything.

Panel 2
Vi stuffs her face with poison cookies, making her charge up her attacks and turns.

Panel 3
Vi throws her beemerang!
Vi: HEAVY THROW!!

Panel 4
The beemerang hits Delilah for 50 damage!
Delilah: AGH!!

Panel 5
Vi catches the beemerang. Stratos looks down at Delilah.

Panel 6
Delilah sits up, totally pumped. Stratos is excited too. Everyone looks happily at Vi.
Stratos: THAT WAS AWESOME!
Delilah: That was SO MUCH DAMAGE!!
Vi: HECK YEAH!!
Kabbu: Great job!

Panel 7
Everyone just looks at each other happily.

Panel 8
...and then Stratos attacks Team Snakemouth in one fell swoop, doing 99 damage each.
Stratos: Anyway,

#Bugtober 2026: Days 7 and 8 - Perfect Timing/Bomb

Had a lot of fun with these two prompts! Especially so with trying to figure out what to do with the Perfect Timing one!

#bugfables #bugfablesfanart #art

A digital artwork depicting Vi, an anthro bee, and the Burglar ladybug enemy from Bug Fables.
The drawing is split in two sections. Dividing the two sections is a depiction of Vi’s attack bar in Bug Fables. It is angled to give it some perspective, and a leaf stopped in a green segment of the bar indicates that Vi’s attack is going to work.
In the top part, Vi looks at something in front of her with a focused expression. One of her paws is held up in front of her chest and the other is raised up to throw her boomerang weapon (or Beemerang).
The bottom part has the Burglar enemy being smacked in the face with the Beemerang, white lines showing the weapon’s motion. The Burglar is crying out in pain, one of their eyes closed and the other open with tears coming from it. The background behind the Burglar is a comic book-like splash of black and white to emphasise the strength of the attack.

A digital artwork of Crisbee, an anthro bee in an apron and chef’s hat, from Bug Fables. Crisbee is to the right of the image, holding onto the large spoon he used to cook with a nervous expression. He has intense shading that casts a heavy shadow over him as he stares at his oven.
To the left of the image is an oven, glowing orange with fire. Several Abombinations (living honey bombs with sinister faces) are oozing out of the opening, staring back at Crisbee with mischievous faces.

Bugtober 2025 - Day 12 - Flood
Awwww yeah, THIS is the one that I went completely overboard with! I didn't think it would be this prompt that I would go overboard on, but that's the fun in these lists.

#bugtober Day 12: Ice Cream

Despite Vi's reassurance, Crisbee has some doubts about putting an ice cube into an oven. (Did this one while having a migraine so I didn't have the energy to fully color/"render" it)

#bugtober2026 #bugfables #bugfablesfanart

Crisbee, a more rotund bee character with an apron and chef's hat, is about to put an ice cube and a drop of honey (the bug fables recipe for honey ice cream) into an oven, but looks concerned to another bee, who reassures him that it's ok.
