Some more reasonable Bob Doubles tonight and trebled well to St Simons hoping to get to the District 7/8 bell practice tomorrow #bellringing

Only 7 at the monthly surprise minor practice at Radley. I got 1 attempt at Bourne and 1 at Norwich while the rest of them rang touches, and spliced stuff. And Mr got through a course of London #bellringing

Picture today is of Mr demonstrating ringing up. There were a lot of demonstrations and a lower level of success with stuff today. Just rounds, PB5, PB6, and G5 attempted. Some successful calling for Teifi though. And homework given for most folks for next week #bellringing

Tonight we had a go at penultimus doubles which was great fun #bellringing

Whites of Appleton have been to do the annual inspection of our bells today. A couple of minor things to monitor and one that they may have to come back to look at in greater detail. Such friendly people who don't mind answering my daft questions #bellringing

Productive hour or so spent practicing calling/conducting for a few of us at Steventon today. St Simons Doubles, Plain Bob Doubles, Stedman Doubles and Grandsire Doubles touches all attempted #bellringing

Depleted in numbers today, but glad to have Dick Peters back after his holidays. The mainly green army rang G5 and PB6 twice each and then some PH5 #bellringing

This afternoon Mr and I rang in a quarter peal of Grandsire Triples at Blewbury to celebrate Christine's Mum's 100th birthday this last week. Details on BellBoard later. Christine also called 100 of Grandsire Doubles after the quarter and before we all celebrated with fizzy and cake #bellringing

20 folks at the Branch Practice at Wallingford tonight. A great session that included Rounds on 10, PB5, G5, PH7, G7, Stedman 7, PB7, PH9, Stedman 9, half a course of Cambs 8 and finishing with LB10 and a lovely lower of all 10. I'm ready for a lie down now 🥱 #bellringing

Got stuck in and called some more changes tonight, not totally confident getting the band back into rounds yet but will stick at it #bellringing

I didn't count all the bodies in the room but we had 3 Richards with us. We rang lots of rounds for those that needed it. Duncan did well with his G7, we had 2 bands try some Norwich 6 with varying results & finished with some Stedman 7. Thanks to our Blewbury friends for bolstering us #bellringing

Sorry to say that Stedman wasn't meant to be again. But after a quick brain switch by all, especially Andy, we were successful in getting Richard through his first quarter peal tonight. He did very very well 👏 #bellringing

Non stop for some of our ringers this week, ringing Thurs, Fri, twice on Sat & back with smiley faces this morning. But they didn't need me to ring up. Alternating between Stedman 5 and Plain Hunt 5 a couple of times each, then finished with PB6. Bells left up for quarter attempt later #bellringing
