This is really nice, and something to consider for an maths extension activity. Might use it for my next "Maths Conversation Class".

For those teaching Further Mechanics, mechanics with calculus (including setting up an appropriate differential equation) is in Extension 2.
Questions are quite tricky.
If it's part of Q16, expect to struggle as teachers. I'd personally struggle to get 100% on this exam haha
A-level Further Maths teachers: if you're looking for mechanics questions, look no further than NSW's Extension 1 and 2 exams.
Mechanics without calculus is in Extension 1, with a strong emphasis on projectiles.
Questions taken from the last four years of exams.

Shocked my further maths class in #MathsToday by writing:
157
-138
-----
2 -1
They were decidedly not impressed.
Loving the names my #alevelmaths students have come up with for their Ritangle teams. I’m a big fan of ‘Complex Comrades’ and the ‘Binomial Babes’ but ‘Let’s get triggy with it’ has to be my favourite 🤩
I love this! Thank you M4TH5

Our course for #ALevelMaths teachers on how to integrate ideas about data science, machine learning and AI into your classroom starts next week but there's still time to sign up...
⏳ There's still time to join our blended Maths into AI course for A level Mathematics teachers.
Explore data science, predictive modelling and the mathematics behind AI through 4 online sessions and a face-to-face study day.
Starts 21 Oct.
Find the exact value of the green area.
Was pleasantly surprised that the answer here turned out nicely!
A fun problem from the talented problem setter Daniel Griller!

Lots of #undergroundmaths today. Some functions with Composing Gets me Nowhere twice and a nice 1967 AO question on trig identities and equations. #MathsToday #ALevelMaths
In #mathstoday, year 12 were learning through play with reciprocal trig functions (and a few extras!) #alevelmaths #memorygame
What resources are put there for Pearson Statistics A-Level?
Is there a decent textbook?
Has anyone implemented it at their school, if so how is it goingl?
One of my goals this school year is writing practice tests for Edexcel L2 Extended Maths Certificate.
Frankly, one of the best syllabi I've ever read - and great assessments.
Ofc teachers delivering AQA L2 FMC can pick and choose questions from these resources.
In #mathstoday yr 1 #alevelmaths investigated transformations of functions using desmos, yr 2 did geometric sequences and series with some more MWB work continuing with example sheets from mr-mathematics.
Just wondering whether OpenAI's actions (and their implications) have made it across to the mathematical education sphere. I'm reading a lot of reaction from higher education, not from secondary (or primary) and so am curious as to whether folks know
Looking forward to hosting #ALevelMaths Teacher Network tomorrow.
