Oh. Let's hope. Latest Kdramas have disappointed me so rewatching old ones. Cdramas definitely superior these days. After #AlchemyofSouls, now rewatching #HospitalPlaylist because ... 😍

Quote from #WeAreAllTryingHere that made me think of #AlchemyOfSouls 😅

“It’s like a character who starts out as a charming troublemaker but becomes serious and dull towards the end.”

I suspect this will be forever my favourite of all Asian dramas. Must watch Season 1 again but the ending broke my heart while Season 2 is much more of a comfort watch. #AlchemyofSouls

Dead-End Job : Lee Jae Wook accepte une offre trop belle pour être honnête sur Netflix

I finished #SpringoftheBlade (great stuff but nowhere near depth of #AgainsttheCurrent) & now rewatching #AlchemyofSouls Season 2 while waiting for episodes to drop. Sick in bed with virus so dramas & books for me.

I think it depends if someone is new to asian dramas in general 🤔
For example if someone watched already #kdrama like #AlchemyOfSouls and liked it I'd recommend...

It's quite out there for a Kdrama. I can understand people not liking it. I loathed #DearHongrang - abuse porn as I call it - but regretfully watched it for #LeeJaeWook because missing him since #AlchemyofSouls. I do believe Netflix Kdrama is skewing for Western tastes including sex & violence.

I finished #AlchemyOfSouls S1&2. You were right: S1 was better: 9/10. S2 was good but not great: 8/10. The show tiptoed right up to the edge of the problem of the concentration of power in society… and then left the benevolent dictators in charge. As long as they’re benevolent it’s fine, you guys.

Day 25: Power Couple

I finally finished #AlchemyOfSouls and on a day we are celebrating power couples, so I had to give a shout out to these two who are quite literally the most powerful people in their world.

Jang UK. The ice stone was problematic enough.

I’m going to finish #AlchemyOfSouls S2 today and find out if the answer is Jang Uk.

What about this guy!?!? #AlchemyOfSouls S2
