@logrus.uk#AfternoonDubloons! I have decided to take a gander at this #QuickShot Maverick to check the #C64U 2-Button capability. The other Maverick was a micro-switch one and dubiously "down" was not clicking, so, we shall come to that later. This one. Grimy. No micro-switches. Now clean. Still no clicking.
@logrus.uk#AfternoonDubloons! Beau Jolly's "5 Computer Hits". Already test loaded Wizard's Lair and on my single go, got the furthest I have ever been (19%). Mis-entered the hi score as BUA. Second game on Side A is "Skooldaze". This, I have no clue what to do. Jump and hit shields? Write lines? Learn? #ALT
@logrus.uk#AfternoonDubloons! Ahhhhh, some early birthday presents have arrived! #Amiga 500 boxed "Cartoon Classics", loads of disks and manuals. Happy Sunday of Mooching About it all..! You can't really see the hundred or so loose diskettes in a cardboard envelope In the second pic... 👀
@logrus.uk#AfternoonDubloons! I don't often splurge, even if you want to call it that, but, it's been a trying few months, so I got a SUITE at the Bristol Marriott. It's reet nice. Parquet flooring in the bar. I haven't even been up to the suite yet, I have been glamoured by the Barkeep. Her name is Star..!
@logrus.uk#AfternoonDubloons! The TurboOnions® are almost ready! They have been pickling for almost 10 weeks. They'll blow yer bleddy gawb orf! #PickledOnions
@logrus.uk#AfternoonDubloons! This is one of my favourite pieces from a recent antique furniture haul I purchased a few months ago. Finally cleaned up and in situ. It could do with being reupholstered, so I will look into how much work that is. All I did was clean the base, I didn't need to refinish it. ♥️
@logrus.uk#AfternoonDubloons! Back from chores out in the motor and I decided to rescue the floor and vine harvest, there is still much much more to come, as long as the weather doesn't implode. Like time for a puff pastry tart type thang... 😋
@logrus.uk#AfternoonDubloons! Work Soundtrack today on the East Sussex Riviera is suitably retro: Just dipped in and out of Moby's "I Like to Score" and "Play" (Run On - what a track!) and now a most outrageously overlooked Smashing Pumpkins album that followed Mellon Collie: Adore. Yep, yep, yep! She's good!
