For today's entry in the #31For31 marathon I attempted to review "Things." It's still a baffling movie for a lot of reasons. www.ffsf.online/post/review-...

Aliens 1986
I’ve seen the first a few times, but I couldn’t remember about the second so I gave it a go last night. These movies are held in the absolute highest regard when it comes to horror and sci-fi for a reason. And shout out to Bill Paxton playing private Hudson… man
@ffsf.onlineI have 4 more movies to watch before the end of the month for my #31For31 marathon. I can do this. I WILL do this.
Also, I got a new keyboard and I am really REALLY digging it. I like it so much I might end up getting one for home too. a.co/d/0i40GQyx

@kaozclown.bsky.socialTonight movie is the New Zealand Horror masterpiece Black Sheep.
@ffsf.onlineYesterday was for one of the strangest movies I have watched in the ~10 years of doing #31For31 called... Butt Boy. www.ffsf.online/post/review-... (Weirdly, not a sexual thing... really.)
@ffsf.onlineTwo more #31For31 movie reviews dropped on my page. Today's from Lucas is for Bride of Chucky. www.ffsf.online/post/review-...

The Void 2016
Shifting gears with a modern cosmic horror and I was not disappointed. While the plot did feel disjointed at times, the eldritch imagery and over sense of universal dread was so well done. Some of my favorite monster designs so far!

Chopping Mall 1986
I was trying to keep the vibes different between each movie, but I needed more 80’s and this delivered big time. Never have I missed peak mall days so much! I’ll always appreciate a killer robot, “Thank you, and have a nice day”

The Monster Squad 1987
A wonderful little horror comedy I missed out on growing up. It felt like so many childhood Halloween movies except this time the quriky townsfolk actually die. Labeled as a cult classic and I can totally see why!

@kaozclown.bsky.social@ffsf.onlineFriday's #31For31 was NOT the movie I thought it was, but somehow it was better than what I was looking for. www.ffsf.online/post/review-...
@ffsf.onlineYesterday's entry into #31For31 was the RIGHT big lizard movie, as a second try. www.ffsf.online/post/review-...

Night of the Living Dead 1968
Another timeless classic I've never actually seen that lived up to the hype. I liked that we don't really get any info on the phenomenon until near the end of the film leaving lots of room to crank the paranoia. Will watch again in color soon
