函 The Church's Mission Subtitle Stepping out of one of the many chapels on the grounds, the priestess stopped to take in a breath of fresh air. Autumn was coming on the breeze with month of Dry Sun, the eighth month, finally coming to a close. The church of Galvisius sat on a plot of land spanning several acres, making it one of the largest church properties in Emporia. In fact, Galvisius was one of three major locations where new priests were trained. The priestess began her walk to the Confessor's Chapel, a side-building near the periphery of the property that was rarely used by anyone except for Bishop lovinus. The structure was originally intended to be used as a place to ordain new confessors, something the priestess aspired to become, but rarely did a need for new confessors arise. Walking the grounds, she followed the well-maintained paths lined with paver stones down the shallow slope leading up to the Confessor's Chapel. The grass across the entire property was well-manicured with every tree, bush, and vine pruned to idyllic standards. Only the scattering of dying leaves remained untouched. The priestess grabbed the big ring handles of the chapel doors and pushed them inward. Air swirled in, dragging some leaves with it. The chapel, barely five rows of pews deep, had a lone man in lightweight white robes resting in a wheel chair at the foot of the altar's steps. Wrinkled and gaunt hands grabbed the wheels to spin the chair about.

A mysterious hermit named Cam finds him and swears that he can help Milo lift the curse. Milo must find the witch, lift the curse, and reckon with his own feelings before he is consumed by the wood.
