#Commence, #sustain, #explore.
#Marvel at #conflict #stormy.
#Embark #passion #hunger.
#Reckon to #nurture.
#Renounce rhyme & meter of yore!

#Commence to #sustain a tuppence.
#explore a #marvel for thruppence.
In #conflict quite #stormy,
#embark #passion thorny.
#Hunger to #reckon life somewhence.

Of all the things I’d like to #renounce, the need to make everything meaningful is probably the most significant.

When the streetcar came he boarded at the front and sat down. She entered at the back and took up a seat where she could keep an eye on him. The blonde sitting next to her wore a slim black dress, but smelled like she had decided to #renounce hygiene in all of its forms. #vss365 #writing

something of us
must keep changing
to remain

the flame survives
by renouncing
each shape
it becomes

what is relinquished
becomes its light

#vss365 The witchfinder raised the torch. “#Renounce the Devil, and God may yet forgive you.” She smiled through broken teeth. “I did, a decade ago.”

Behind him, the church burst into flames, its bell crashing to the ground. His own men seized him.

“Now I work alone,” she said #Edvane #DarkFantasy

I’ve fought many a battles.
Been wounded and torn,
yet I stand.
Been Broken,
betrayed and abandoned
still, I walk with my head held high.

I smile.
I laugh.
I #renounce what is hollow.
I live without fear.

When I love,
I love deep,
I love hard.

This is me:
Humble. Real.

In awe of earth's beauty
anything I might
renounce
is on pause today.

Behold the moon.

Instead of luck
Never #renounce
Any ambitions from hope
If someone suggest
Success is earned

(When or How)

An ounce of prevention
#Renounce my intentions
There are thoughts and feelings
That shouldn’t take
Their full course

I’m a bag of blood and bones
Trying to make it back home
Have you ever felt
What it means
To love at full force?

Drip drip drip
The water on the stone

Happy Sunday folks. Lovely morning oit at sea, and now a lazy afternoon can be had. #vss365 #haiku

Tired of acting
#renounce the fakery life
Conform no longer

"Nothing created nor destroyed. Only changed."

He lived for years undercover in the cult. Reported on oaths, members… but omitted the delta tattoo on his arm.

Many now wonder why he would #renounce his life's work. But he knows nothing is destroyed.

Only changed.

drop the heavy load
take the open road
grab keys from off the shelf
#renounce the burden
focus on one's self
when storms have run their course
seek fresh resource
the phantom weight can fade
beyond suffocating shade
an unwritten path will begin to gleam
for the author
of a brand-new dream

No matter the torture inflicted upon her, she would not #renounce her lord

Eventually, they burned her at the stake, which is exactly what she wanted

From the ashes of her old body, she rose as something far more powerful

Then she returned the favor and burned all in sight

November, you moronic nincompoopsie Mumpsimusian bamboozling gongoozler—whaaat!—already?
September’s still clodhopp-er-ring—mopingly, moppingly—unwilling to #renounce the tree of anarchy, for heaven’s sake!

“What?!”

“Exactaccatatut-struttut-a-um-uh-oh-actly! That’s. what.”

‘How long has been since your last visit to the dentist?’

‘Ah, let’s see. It’s been a few years.’

‘Your teeth aren’t in great shape. You might need to #renounce some bad habits.’

‘Like what?’

‘Do you smoke or drink coffee?’

‘Um, like most people, I prefer to drink it.’

'No, Mr Goblin! I won't betray Gabe. He's my BFF. Well... not BFF, but good friend. Or friend anyway. I mean, we live together. Or I'm made to. I guess in reality he's just my parole officer. But still, I won't #renounce him... is that a brownie. Well... perhaps I could!'
