undergrowth of time
wipe the waters clean
purify my eye
underneath that countenance
floating by
clear those tiny bits
of grit and grime

Burning zeal—
Impulsion to #purify
ourselves and others.

I cannot trust myself
with rage,
desire for either/or.

To live,
a heart must beat
and/also.

pure hearts burn
true hearts love

‘What’s that smell?’

‘I’m burning sage to #purify my space to get rid of all the bad energy clogging my creative flows.’

‘Does it work?’

‘Apparently not, unfortunately.’

‘How can you tell?’

‘You’re still here.’

tread these cleansing waters
help us #purify
and ready our skin
before we take the plunge

beneath the depths
you find my hand

and together we sink

Curate and #purify
Leave only that
Which truly matters
What you know to be useful
What you feel to be beautiful
All else is simply noise

Coffee is a powerful detox,

as an enema,

but as a beverage,

it's a neurotoxin,

giving the illusion of wakefulness

while confounding nervous signals between senses.

#Purify your own water.

The name brands are loaded with microplastics.

Purify your soul
Let love take control
With warmth we feel
Our hearts become one

Electric this sensation
Renewed in these vibrations
Our hearts beat as one
This love does blossom

Sunflowers
season after season
faces turn toward the sun
in Chernobyl
in Fukushima

Autumnal morning
Windswept Thunderstorms
Colorfully purify

“#Purify your hearts,
Ye double minded!”

Hindsight’s 20/20
Eventually we find it

Pushing forward boldly
I have set my heart
On you

How much of life’s
Been spent in doubt?

Eventually
We figure it out

Old age is a gift
When your heart finally knows
And youth is often
Wasted on the young

Formed from
Oak, broom
And
Meadowsweet,
And trapped until
She was given wings
And rose to claim
The night -
Cursed as an owl,
Banished to darkness
Where she can
#Purify and distil
Her sorrow
In her soundless
Flight...

If there's ever been a space to purify your soul, the Paradiso must rank 'on high'. Low-key and unassuming outside and in: heaven is not found in a place, but in its people.

But, as I entered, I saw Raincoat: face like thunder, he looked as comfortable as a Methodist in a brewery.

Nora watches Bob stir honey into his warm tea, claiming it can #purify any gloomy day. He licks his spoon with the dedication of a man who never lets sweetness go to waste. She loves him unconditionally, even if it means hiding her own chocolate stash.
