For my wife:

A while we’ll sit here
You and I
Amongst the green and grass

We won’t know we’re getting old
We won’t know hours pass

And some urban art from the Main road in Borth, Wales where we like an ice cream on the beach

Our throb is emphatic
Amplifying the tantric
Liberation moves
Our dance fierce and ecstatic

I prefer
this marginal
scraping to get by
REAL existence
of a life
to the world
of superficial
artificial luxury

Tap... Tap...

Anyone out there
buying this drivel?
(sigh)

The fire of sexual chemistry
Pervading many connections
But we guard psychic energy
We don’t gamble on close community

Shedding codependency
Transmuting shame
Practicing alchemy

Where my pen went to today

is to how what we think we need
is not always what we want
how the wanting outweighs the needing
when the needing is separated from the wanting.
