@pitchdis.comThe #PitchDis wrap-up is going to be a fun read this year because I'll definitely be talking about today's chaos 😂
@ancienthipster.bsky.socialMy first time trying a pitch event landed me two agent requests. 🤞🤞
@petraglover.bsky.socialWell, my MG historical SIX, THEY SAID is having a busy time recently. I've still not recovered from the Yeovil shortlist and have just had a request from an agent during #PitchDis! Whatever happens there, I'm just thrilled to have caught someone's eye. #amquerying #MGLit
@ericanoelz.bsky.socialGetting a #pitchdis request is the best feeling.
@pitchdis.com🚨IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT🚨
The #PitchDis email account is not working at the moment. Please send a DM if you need anything. I'll update as soon as possible.
@cripademia.bsky.social1st request has come in from #PitchDis - whoot 🤞🤞🤞
@cl-kos.bsky.socialOops, I missed the 12 days of PitchDis!
But, belatedly, hello! I'm Celine. I write fantasy, sci-fi, and the occasional LitFic short story.
My experience with OCD and neurodivergence ripples throughout my books, with characters who fear they have no place being the hero.
@pitchdis.com#PitchDis afternoon updates:
-55 requests have been made so far
-The agent and editor list has been updated
@giannamarie.bsky.social@pitchdis.comThe #PitchDis request window is open! 🎉
Agents and editors can make requests until Friday at 8pm EDT.
Make sure to check your spam folder every so often.
Good luck, everyone! 💜
@pitchdis.comHey everyone, I didn't get to the #PitchDis inboxes yesterday and I may not get to them until later today because I'm dealing with a nasty headache. But the agent and editor emails are going out in a few hours!
@srleeauthor.comAfter spending hours on one damn sentence, I nailed my log line for my revised book. I re-entered the query trenches after my agent unexpectedly retired by submitting to #PitchDis and will be cold-querying soon!
@pitchdis.comHow's everyone doing today? I think this past week finally caught up with my because I'm exhausted 😴
On tap for #PitchDis today - run another test on the software and get agent and editor emails ready to be sent out Monday.
All questions about stats will be answered next week.
@authorarkent.bsky.socialI’m laughing right now because otherwise I’d cry, but …
My disability (ADHD) literally kept me from participating in #PitchDis. Time blindness is no joke. Lesson learned: maybe I need to start taking setting alarms and reminders for myself seriously …
@hilaryvh.bsky.socialPlanted some seeds this week that I hope will grow into something cool:
🤝 Had a couple job interviews.
✍️ Submitted a short story to a publication opportunity for the first time.
⚾️ Pitched my chapter book during the #PitchDis event.
@pitchdis.comAnd that's it for #PitchDis 2026 pitching! 🎉 Good luck and THANK YOU to everyone who sent in a pitch.
Our preliminary grand total - 698 pitches!
I'll see you tomorrow.
@pitchdis.comWhile everything is starting to wind down for those entering #PitchDis, the hardest, busiest part of the event is just starting for me 😂
Tomorrow I'll begin getting the pitches ready for agents and editors to review next week. Here's what that entails...
@pitchdis.comOkay everyone, we're getting close to closing time. You have two hours to submit your #PitchDis pitch. The form closes automatically at 8pm EDT and I won't be able to reopen it if you're mid-pitch. So PLEASE keep that in mind and plan accordingly 💜
