I’m struggling to get the actual sparkle of these #beads, but it just isn’t coming out. They are dazzling.

Since it’s #Dolly Parton Day I thought it appropriate to bling up a #parasol as outrageously as I could. I hope this one is enough for her and Bob Mackie when I’m through.

A finished crochet parasol cover lies on my black desktop. The visible part of this parasol is the center toward the top right of the image. The yarn is a bright pink which fades slowly into orange and yellow at the left of the image.

A box of various sizes of very holographic beads is on top of it.

This section of parasol has peacock feather eyes crocheted into it, but the centers are holes, so I am in the process of filling the center holes with the beads.

The crochet parasol is a little crumpled up, but the bottom edge has the orange rows I’ve already attached beads to which fades into pink at the top of the image & center of the parasol.
