@gillow.bsky.socialI know it's complicated and everyone will have their own reasons for supporting or opposing the bill currently before Parliament, but whatever your beliefs, surely we'd all wish to be able to end our lives as H did, comfortable, in his own home & surrounded by family.

But disabled people I know and disabled people's advocacy groups that I respect say that the #AssistedDying bill's safeguards are inadequate.
So I cannot support this bill.

But however #MPs vote I hope they do so having thoroughly researched the issues and content of the bill. This is a vote that demands focus.
