#WeekWithoutDriving
#weekwithoutdriving I am so fortunate to really not have to drive in my regular daily life. With a kid, the cargo bike is what makes it possible. Transit in Seattle is really not up to the task.
Daily Reflection on #WeekWithoutDriving - Have you had to ask anyone for help, a ride, a favor, if you were on the right? How did that feel?

Perfect weather for my commute home from City Hall on this #WeekWithoutDriving.
As someone who commutes by bike year-round, I know firsthand how important it is that our infrastructure investments make our streets safe for all modes of transportation.
#WeekWithoutDriving having a flexible job is a huge privilege & makes being a non-driver more accessible. While there are certain things I must be at on time/ in person, much of my work can be done on my laptop or phone. If I miss the bus I can still take a call while I wait or check email.
Bring your #WeekWithoutDriving bingo card with you to the event and you could win some special prizes ⤵️

We had an awesome #WeekWithoutDriving event on Monday with a meetup and panel discussion at Brew Link. We picked the location because it is on two bus rapid transit routes and the Indianapolis Cultural Trail.
Shoutout to all of our customers who took the #WeekWithoutDriving pledge and have been using Metro to get to work, appointments, errands, activities, and everywhere in between.

Day 5 dispatches from #WeekWithoutDriving: TBH, an ordinary commute! All vehicles were on time, even my evening 90 (often up to 30 minutes late or cancelled). However, watching other people board and chatting with the regulars on my evening busses, fare issues were a recurring theme. #stl #StLouis
And don’t forget to participate in Week Without Driving, and check out #WeekWithoutDriving on the socials. We’ve got one more event in Seattle -- join us for a happy hour co-hosted by Futurewise and Transportation Choices Coalition Wednesday 6pm at Stoup Brewing on Capitol Hill.
