📕 I finished The Witch of Eden Hollow and wrote my ARC review.

A clunk, out of nowhere, startles me, reminding me of where I am. I peer back at the sink, where the dripping seems to have ceased. My anxiety grows as the mysterious clunking increases both in volume and intensity, surrounding me, coming from all directions. *Something* is in the pipes. I *need* to leave; I need to leave *now*. My breath snags in my throat. I pivot on my heels. Except, it's too late. The pipes burst from the bathtub, then the shower, the sink. The liquid bubbles up from the drains and the toilet, overflowing onto the floor. I don't stick around any longer and dash from the bathroom, slamming the door shut. What in the hell? Terrified, I run to my bedroom, slamming that door shut, too, jolting my partner awake. I must look wild: Hair disheveled, eyes frenzied, breath staggered, arms restless. Completed my rough rewrite of part 6 and started a little on part 7, the final part of the book. So yeah, exactly what I wanted to get done.

Physical health: Neck/Back are fucked and starting to get muscle spasms again. 😖

Mental health: Fantastic. 🥰

It was a good week! The ebook of The Stardust of Failure went live on Tuesday the 15th as planned, the paperback and hardcover are uploaded and ready to publish on the 28th, and I received the proof of the paperback.

Looks like I revised 5 chapters on 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘦, 𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘰𝘯𝘦, losing 625 words in the process 😅 I cut a 1100 word scene last Saturday

And I wrote a 2400 word short story follow-up to 𝘉𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘑𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 this week

Also, I did my final editing readthrough of A Harvest of the Heart! That wasn’t an initial goal, but was good to get done! ☺️
