So, if you noticed the movie has four screenwriters, the first duo (Meerson and Krikes) did the original script, but the majority of the work (especially in this part of the movie) was done by Harve Bennett and returning writer/director Nicolas Meyer. #ImpromptuTheater

Pretty sure that Klingon ship is going too damn slow for Warp 10, that would have skipped them right out of the Solar System in the blink of an eye.

Also, they would degenerate into salamanders.

I saw this movie last week paired with #CityOnTheEdgeOfForever, and when McCoy says, "Now wait just a damn minute," it almost felt like a direct reference to how sideways a time travel mission could go.
