I AM GOING TO give a second person music! NIKI BOND!
www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeQN... I am not sure Silent Suspension would fit this, but I think another characters world...Caine's might!
BALANCE SLAYS THE DEMON BY POETS OF THE FALL!
@chancemorgan.bsky.socialOne of the many adventures Kent and Seymour get up to on the road is visiting a strip club in Houston.
Seemed appropriate to choose the one and only Megan Thee Stallion for the occasion.
@windykazea.bsky.social#SongsOfSeptember: Day 29
I'll repeat the vibes question with Erutan's lovely cover of Secret Library Daguerreo. 📖✨ I love everything about this cover. The nostalgia, the coziness. The sentiment, too. It's something of a comfort song for me, and one I tend to associate with this story & cast.
@goldencoyote.bsky.social29. Repeat question (you can repeat any question of your choice!)
25. Uplifting song
@aminaleeds.bsky.social#SongsOfSeptember 29. Revisit a question.
I picked a song for a character featured on Day 24. This one has Tabby's name written all over it and it might fit a song of a hotel room with a really ugly 70s style rug that Aaron hates
Deee-Lite "Groove Is In The Heart"

@kiyanicoll.bsky.socialAhahahahaha ha sure. (Gender aside. People are gay, Steven.)
"Hungry Like the Wolf", Duran Duran
@paulhikari.bsky.socialI think I might've answered Day 8, but not like this. I have playlists for both major characters and key story moments in "King of Blades."
@thepoetjean.bsky.socialA29. Most of his personal arc is regaining belief in himself.
For character inspo i looked up men who are seen as masculine w/o appealing to hierarchy or patriarchy, so hopefully it comes out authentic and genuine. (2/end)

@pjccahill.bsky.socialGearing up for big move and out of spoons, so I'm just gonna re-share a fav from my stories:
This is for Kyoka's dark night of the soul in Demon King Daughter (book 3)
@thepoetjean.bsky.socialA29. My MC Ari, at his core, is as softhearted as he is scientific. He's extremely confident in competent in his work & his abilities, but he's hyper-aware of his own flaws.
Song: Crawling Back to You by the Artic Monkeys (Hozier's cover).

@thepoetjean.bsky.socialA28. For my sibling @/quinnethpaltro.bsky.social (rarely in BSky), I think that People I Don't Like by UPSAHL works for their demon love interest, Lazarus, esp for Laz's flirty personality (esp around his love interest, Benji).

This is either for Day 3 or 17 since Maven/Meredith is both a side character in Grace's story and becomes a main character in her own book.

Since I missed so many, here's a few:
Day 9: Band For The Story:
If I had to give The Colors That Haunt Us to one band, it would be The Amazing Devil.
Their mix of haunting folk, messy grief, desperate love, obsession, and beauty that always has something...

Revisiting this one cause its also a song perfect for Nat and Vola
@thepoetjean.bsky.socialA27. Putting in Howl's theme here once again! My characters just want to be happy and live their lives together, so here's hoping they get that (no spoilers). #SongsOfSeptember
@nectar-vam77.bsky.socialI'm okay. But let me say that I really enjoyed this. I wish this can go on but everything had its season. I'll miss this.
@skarabraeauthor.bsky.socialI think I'm good, but thanks for doing this.
@glwalkerauthor.bsky.socialVisiting another side character - Votan! He's my desert vagrant totally in love (at first sight) with another character in the party.
Sting - Desert Rose
