Blade moths are often a point of debate for sword owners and smiths alike.
Most find the blade useless during the maturation period. However, once the moth emerges, the steel is stronger and sharper for it.

A thin thrusting sword.
The blade is spiraled to a vicious point. And colored from blue at the base. to emerald at the tip.
The crossguard is a cup shaped like a hollowed out cocoon an even more vibrant green.
the grip is banded dark wood and green metal that vaguely resembles an insects abdomen.

The background is multiple layers of red paired triangles, dirtier as they go into the distance.

Day 21 of #rbswordtember (Cocoon) The Spooling Threat. A weapon based off the beautiful silk moth but with a dangerous twist. The blade also contains a threaded spike that can be used to ensnare foes.

A sword with a spool within the center, the hilt is supposed to look like partially collapsed moth wings, the handle has a trigger rod that is compressed to shoot the threaded spike at the top of the sword out and pushed back outward to return the spike to its housing. The blade has the thread of the spool running through it attached to said spike

A ramshackle sword made from many mismatched parts, the blade is severely dented, the hilt is made from an old fishing rod, the handle is made from bent wood and covered in scrapped belts . There’s also a tear in the page where Milton was gnawing on it
