day 1: The world you left behind

The night hung heavy with an unsettling stillness, devoid of even the soft buzz of crickets. She knelt there, staring at his small, lifeless body, wrapped in shadows that seemed to cling to him like a blanket of starless night. The moonlight illuminating the delicate features that never once had the gift of sparkling with life, now frozen in an eternal sleep.

Emotion felt distant, as if the world had dulled, and in that haunting stillness, she grappled with an overwhelming sense of loss that throbbed.

“It has been quite a while since your embrace. He departed from this world long ago childe. All that remains is to gently let his body return to the garden.” A voice behind her. A man who was softly touching her shoulder to comfort her.

“Did he hurt like I did when it happened?” Claribel asked. Stoic.

“He knew no suffering. All he knew was the warmth of your womb, and the beat of your heart when it was there.” A second pair of hands helped her in digging now.

Bit by bit, he seemed to dissolve into nothingness. the vibrant plants blossomed all around, they would soon draw nourishment from him, transforming his essence into a cycle of life and growth. Something she would never again experience.

That is how her son would live. How he would grow and thrive.

“I will never embrace.. I will not make any more of us. If they do not come from my womb, I will not create..” Soft, silent tears streamed down her cheeks, each droplet glistening as it traced a path of sorrow, before finally mingling with the earth beneath her, leaving tiny impressions in the dirt. Crimson impressions.

The end.

This story was written and included in my OC’S backstory, but never publicly revealed.

This was my way of coping with a pregnancy loss. It helped me a lot to write about it. To let it be known even if it was just to my storyteller.

same VtM game, Brujah had found a kink club where he could feed and party - without breaking the masquerade or hurting anyone, was so thrilled could have the best of both worlds (or so he thought)

1-World you left behind - VtM, became a Brujah, but could still go to college, drive his mustang, hang out at the clubs etc, world was largely unchanged, but his brother became a Nosferatu, he had to completely hide from everything & everyone except my character.
