133) Looney Tunes: Space Race

I had a lot of fun with this racing game. This one has a pretty solid roster of iconic Looney Tunes characters and it has a great soundtrack. While there is little bit of jank with the racing it’s overall a really good game.

It's not very long or very hard, but it's so much fun to play and it's a very chill experience. The sequel is also really good.

#justbeatit The SNES version of Sunset Riders. Never played this one before and I was having a great time up until the last few levels. Final boss was a real pain to me but I finally did it. Ended with my hands all cramped after it though. @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Okage Shadow King was fun. Pretty short for a rpg, and has its moments where difficulty spikes and then settles just as quick. The final boss was disappointing however. The ost also slaps but the combat holds it back a bit with how slow it can be. 4/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

#JustBeatIt @polykillpodcast.bsky.social No.146 Springbot - The Last Spark (NSW). It looks like a cute, easy platformer, and while it's definitly cute, it's anything but easy. Especially the final stretch is extremely frustrating and downright mean. Shame. I really wanted to like this game more.

This is a cool shoot em up. I liked the ship selection and the soundtrack is bangin. Certain spots can get crazy with enemies. My only complaint is some projectiles are really small, they blend in with the background at times. @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

The Adventures of Star Saver is kind of a weird game with lots of gotcha deaths, but aside from some tricky boss patterns, it's fairly basic and not too tough. I still found it strangely compelling and worth spending some time with it. #JustBeatIt

132) Metamorphic Force

I think this game should be up there with Konami’s best beat’em up games. This one is basically their take on Altered Beast. The animal transformation aspect was cool and this game also has some vibrant levels and a rocking soundtrack.

131) Chulip

This was definitely one the weirdest game I’ve ever played. This one has the strange mechanic of trying to kiss everyone you meet. The game is fun but it has its tedious moments. But at least the instruction manual has a full guide for the game.

130) Marvel’s Wolverine

I absolutely loved this game. Playing as Wolverine as he goes around slashing various enemies was just as satisfying as I thought it would be. The main story is great too as it offers a new take on Wolverine’s origin story.

#justbeatit Pokemon Green. I started this back in February when i realized Pokemon was turning 30yo. Finally got around to beat it. It's a Blue romhack to make it look like Green. Played a Nuzlocke run and had a lot of fun with it. Such cool and ugly sprites. @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Wolverine is far from perfect, but it's not the steaming turd the internet makes it out to be. There are moments of genuine fun to be had with a lot of weird decisions peppered throughout.
It was good, but could've been great.
Liam McIntyre is great as Logan.
