The #Huskies' Volleyball team (currently 3-1, 3rd in the Big10) is 4 games into their conference schedule. They face Ohio, & Penn State before returning home on 10/16.

Husky Tonttu cranes his neck out to sniff cautiously at a large white orb on the forest floor, its dimensions greater than his own head! Several other orbs, not quite so large, sit nearby, and one in the foreground has been split apart, revealing smooth white flesh inside.

The descent from the peak is initially steep and challenging, but soon you join up with an old roadbed, which can be a river at times, but there are boardwalks for some of the worst sections.

The camera, held down at dog-level and off kilter, captures hikers Jeff and Tonttu walking down a wide trail through young maple forest, which forms a bright yellow backdrop behind them. There's yellow and orange leaves on the dark trail, and a snaking bit of 2-board walkway behind them.Another shot of Tonttu leading Jeff through the yellow colored maples down a double-wide boardwalk.
