Head's up: Omarchy appears to have bought itself some bot swarms based on the Linux feed in Bluesky suddenly having people loudly defend it. They weren't there *yesterday*.

I guess the strategy is: don't feed the trolls. Block and move on.

@tante 100% agreed. I bump into people in the FLOSS/FOSS world who seem to think they can do it apolitically--I mean, look at Framework, supporting Omarchy--which means they fundamentally don't understand the point of it all.

It's a shame more #floss don't have better single sign on support. It should be the standard e.g. provisioning groups.

It really shouldn't be just a feature for large enterprises. It's kind of a whole field of federation and identity that we don't talk about much.

In our latest GNOME 51, dragging multiple files in our Files app will now show nice counter badge.

And our Files companion app — Sushi, our file previewer, received a proper glow-up, and has been ported to GTK 4 + Libadwaita. Enjoy!

Thanks to our Outreachy intern Malika, in GNOME 51, Document Viewer now supports visual signatures, useful for quickly signing paperwork! You don't need any special hardware or certificates, just draw your signature, or you can import one.
