Fantastic writing!👌
🎶Nobody led you on
They left that to you
Now you'll be alone
When the sun comes up
With your tattered little dreams
And a broken cup
Then you'll have to
Trust yourself
And don't believe in anymore lies🎶

STUNNING!🎤❤️💪
🎶As I write one more letter to you
No, I can't change the things I do
One day when you discover
Just why I ran away from you, lover
Well, I know I'm to blame, I feel so ashamed
Called out your name
Oh, after the rain🎶

Jim Cuddy's vocals and melodies are just fantastic! I've met him/seen them in concert many times, just a great band/guys! ❤️ IYKYK
🎶Well, I know it's time
One big step
I can't go
I'm not ready yet...🎶

RUSH joined Max Webster in the studio for Battlescar and it features two lead vocalists/guitarists/bassists/drummers, keyboards on top, and backing vocals as needed.

Neil's lyrics in Witch Hunt Part III' in his "Fear" series of intercon. songs exploring the psychological/ social impacts of fear, are still VERY applicable to what we see in the 🇺🇲 today.
🎶Ignorance and prejudice
And fear, walk hand in hand🎶

At 22, Alex Lifeson wrote both the music & the lyrics entirely on his own! Zeppelin-esque and about self-determination, as 2112 was an 'all or nothing' last chance album, and it bought them their freedom!💪
That outro solo! 🔥🎸

🎶You're just like honey, darling, you're so sweet, like glue
I'm gonna stick to you
You got something I really want
Your lovin' is so far out, it's true
I wanna get with you
Been contemplating
Left and right
I'm telling lies/ picking fights🎶

🎶Plantin' dead flowers
In a cold October
Cemetery blackbird
Flyin' on over
Where's this gonna take me?
A mountain full of misery
Careless abandon
All alone and empty🎶

🎶Baby in a white house
Fascists on the rise
No power to the people
I can't believe my eyes
Giving more and more up
But always setting less
The world is a fucked up mess, what's next
Stand tall when the world goes dark
Don't give up or...🎶

Post Grunge/Punk/Hard rock
🎶'Cause I'm a low life, and I'm lovin' it
I got the whole damn world in the palm of my hand
I'm a low life, so fucking deal with it
No you can't change something that you don't understand🎶

🎶Outta sight, buy your kicks from the man in white
Feels all right, powder pleasure in your nose tonight
See the men paint their faces and cry
Like some girl, it makes you wonder why
City life, sure its cool, but it cuts like a knife, your life🎶

🎶There's no way that you'll win
Cause I'm here
Starting all over again
Take back your pieces, take back your pawns
Take back your armies, I'll take back my arms
Positions don't matter, you move first
If I move last, somebody's gonna get hurt🎶

Jamiroquai hits lots of styles: Funk/acid jazz/soul/disco/house/R&B with a super infectious melody/riff & groove. 😎🤘
His lyrics certainly paint a 'Rated R' vibe. 😏😈
🎶(Feels good) you said it would feel that good and it does🎶

Sometimes, Indie pop/Synth-pop just hits right.
GREAT production values.👌
🎶Yeah, come over here and sit next to me
We can see where things go naturally
Just say the word and I'll part the sea
Come over here and sit next to me
I'll take you high🎶
