On #ThisDayInHistory in 1796, the bodies of about sixty drowned #African captives, still bound in chains, were found in #RappareeCove in North #Devon, #England. They were likely bound for the slave market in #Bristol when the ship wrecked. Locals dumped them into a mass grave.

Why is #GreatWestern stopping passengers accessing platforms at #Bristol #TempleMeads early when the waiting rooms and coffee shops are located on the platforms? I was stopped because I arrived 1hr before my train's departure, even though that was the next train. DUMB!
