unlike anything I have ever read before, a very thought provoking collection of works. it felt like an adult comic book and I was excited for every next page #beingmassaged

The same page talks about how George Washington spoke about not hearing from Paris this year. This in todays day and age isnt even famothable. Imagine not hearing from your close friend or advisor who you need information from for a whole year. #beingmassaged

#beingmassaged On The next page though you can read it upside down. I think the meaning of this besides engaging readers is a message or more of a mood showing that not everything is right or good

wait i dont understand this at all #beingmassaged #ormaybenot

New visual alert! I'm a big proponent of stopping to smell the roses but I never like to dwell too much and man does McLuhan speak to me. People like to live in the past whether it be wanting to go back to better prices, better food, better air, but would you rather live then or now #beingmassaged

It seems like McLuhan is referencing print technology and radio for the most part, but it's crazy how much more accurate it is today. Especially considering smartphones weren't even invented when the book was published as far as I'm aware. #beingmassaged

I feel like this has to be one of those quotes which are not to motivate or discipline people but to confuse them. If Mister Jones does not know what is happening and the person asking knows that, then there is no sense asking him.

"A global village". The idea the world is now a big village is so true and has changed the world for the better and for worse. We now know who is getting wronged across the world which is great so we can support them but in the same light how do we know this information we get is true #beingmassaged

'the television generation' is described as grim and serious. they are said to be less whimsical which is a very interesting juxtaposition to the iPad generation... #beingmassaged

Scrolling down the pdf I was not ready for this, this has caught me by surprise. I did not expect to see two randoms kissing on my screen. Going forward now I know what the author is doing, I feel like I have to ready for everything but they continues to surprise me.

I've spent 5 straight minutes staring, and I seriously can't figure out what I'm looking at. Seriously annoying because I have a feeling it's something big, especially because its the very first thing in the pdf. #beingmassaged

the Socrates quote is really blowing my mind because how could you be against letters?? i get that he explains himself but idk still wild to me #beingmassaged

Also the wheel that's supposed to be as deep as the central nervous system looks like a fisher price wheel lol. It's a good depiction for what it is but not what I would expect #beingmassaged

was reading along like usual when it became abundantly clear that this was not a normal piece of writing. The images and their captions are engaging and very thought provoking. #beingmassaged

Exactly how I feel, what exactly is the medium and what do you mean massage? 😂 I really like the vibes this book has to offer in the first couple pages and I'm excited to read it. #beingmassaged

obsessed with this imagery #beingmassaged

Just saw something online talking about how companies sell our information and it brought me back to the previous. All the companies that have gotten accused and sued for selling information is wild. #beingmassaged

lots of interesting imagery but for obvious reasons this one stuck out to me. been giving some real effort and attempting to read this and so far no luck #beingmassaged #cananyonereadthis

The text talks about new media is forced to do old media's work, but how is that related to the picture. The picture in my thinking might be showing some clouds and seems like it has been taken from the sky, but that has no connection to the text.

the section on 'your government' is very intriuging, the somewhat derogatory tone describing what i see as normal. "The living room has become a voting booth" very intersting... #beingmassaged
