An imprisoned people, besieged and sanctioned for decades, armed with conviction, broke out and struck at the heart of the settler-colonial project. The myth of zionist invincibility — the myth that Western imperial backing, advanced weaponry, and total surveillance would crush any resistance — collapsed in a single day. That is the rupture. That is what shifted. For every oppressed people on this earth, the horizon moved. Der Mythos der Unbesiegbarkeit des Zionismus — der Mythos, dass westliche imperiale Unterstützung, moderne Waffen und totale Überwachung jeden Widerstand zerschlagen würden — brach an einem einzigen Tag zusammen. Das ist der Bruch. Das ist es, was sich gewandelt hat. Für alle unterdrückten Menschen auf dieser Erde hat sich der Horizont verschoben. Keine ferne Hoffnung, sondern ein konkreter, gelebter Beweis dafür, dass der Kolonisator nicht unbesiegbar ist, dass das Gefängnis nicht ewig währt, dass die Mauer fallen kann, dass Flüchtlinge nach über 80 Jahren der Vertreibung in ihre Heimat zurückkehren können. Und so wurde der 7. Oktober zu unserem Leuchtfeuer der Standhaftigkeit. Er beleuchtete den Weg für alle Völker, denen gesagt wird, ihre Befreiung sei unmöglich, denen gesagt wird, sie sollten warten, verhandeln, geduldig sein und vernünftig handeln.
