Absolutely killer cast in an entertaining White Trash Ocean's 11. I will always be fascinated by Soderbergh as a director. He just knows how to craft a well-composed and fun film and I think that puts him way ahead of some of his contemporaries. #2026Films

Way too much CGI and not enough care as they try to adapt 2-3 games worth of material ton a 100 minute film. If you know the games, you know who to be attached to but you're never given a reason to care if they live outside of a name. #2026Films
@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #343: Catalina Caper
Stupid comic that doesn't make a lick of sense but just about the same as level of quality as your average beach movie of the same era. Hope Little Richard got a big paycheck! #2026Films

@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #342: Hearts in Atlantis
It's okay. It's mainly 60's nostalgia schmaltz with Anthony Hopkins doing the barest "Mystical old man" role. It never feels like the film has any stakes outside of, "Your youth will one day be behind you." #2026Films

Zombies gonna zombie. It's a fun enough film. Not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but, as someone who barely cares for zombies, I enjoy myself well enough. #2026Films
@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #340: Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman
It's basically a longer, average episode of The New Batman Adventures which means it's okay but nothing I will usually go out of my way to watch. It's also partially because the gangster episodes of BTAS were never my thing. #2026Films

Likely the most video game movie I've ever watched and I mean that as a compliment. It doesn't overstay its welcome, keeps moving, and never let's you breathe for longer than necessary. Its mostly a one man show and that single actor does good with the material. #2026Films
