Misery is one of my script comps too. Love Misery! #scriptchat

After 50 years of scribbling stories (I started young and have then sucked for a long time) I understand that I have two times when I am most creative:

-- LATE LATE at night when deep into the hooch
-- EARLY EARLY in the day before the Universe has pissed me off for the day

UNRAVELED is like MISERY meets BABY REINDEER.

It's only a 2nd draft, but there's promise! And also some super fucked up scenes 😅 #Scriptsky #ScriptChat

Okay, now THAT'S a victory. Well done, Goose! #scriptchat

Victories?
yeah, was swept up by the Muses and pantsed a feature length script that is a riot. Plan is to shoot it in the new year, and then took that momentum over to a very cool novel idea that I'm locking down the outline while on vacation.

i LOVE puns and dumb rhymes. #scriptchat

"Witches get Stitches!" #scriptchat

My schedule doesn't help, but at least it's gone back to m-f for a while. Also other projects and my brain not wanting to work on certain things. The state of the world certainly doesn't help. #scriptchat

Tangibility and concrete ownership are becoming big in the rental economy. But horror itself feels like a tangible genre too, so many monsters and blood and things, you can FEEL the movies when you watch them. #scriptchat

I got a big batch of horror movies and shows I watch every year: select episodes of Ray Bradbury, Japanese movies like Kwaidan and Onibaba, the Shining flicks, the old Universal monsters... weird that I haven't mashed those all up yet. #scriptchat

For some inexplicable mysterious reason I just this constant vague consuming notion that "everything is shit" these days and that kinda sorta tends to eat into my mojo for conjuring Genius.

And the tagline "see it in theaters, you pricks!"

I'll also say to horror's credit, it's really helping prop up the physical media world. #scriptchat

If I can finish a first draft of Devils Don't Fly I'll feel better. Maybe take a crack at filling in the holes on "wonderland" #scriptchat

I can see a poster for NEEDLES....

Need to hear more about "knitting horror"! #scriptchat
