Triumphal arches are hardly rare, but what I liked about the one in #Brussels was that it felt less like a monument stranded in the middle of traffic and more like part of everyday life, people staying awhile, chatting, and making the evening their own, with a spot on a bench for me too.

Brussel-Centraal station certainly sounds grand, but its platforms are tucked underground, so for the sort of railway station one might have had in mind, Brussel-Zuid station is probably the better bet.
