Montreal goal!

Scored by Josh Anderson with 00:50 left in the 2nd. Assisted by Lane Hutson and Zachary Bolduc.

MTL: 3 | BUF: 1

#Habs Lane Hutson slips a backhand pass to Josh Anderson at the faceoff dot for the goal on the #Sabres.

Assists: Hutson, Bolduc

Missing Matheson and now Dobson is a huge deal and a couple of years ago, it would have sunk the #Habs.

But Xhekaj, Guhle and Engström sure are softening the blow! And you still have Reinbacher and Mittelstadt who could step in! #GoHabsGo

This is a fast/end to end/good, close game.

These 4 meetings vs the Sabres this season are developing a good rivalry, and will set up a potential playoff meeting (IMO) very nicely!

Nice goal by Anderson from a great feed by Hutson! 💥💪

Après 40 minutes, les #GoHabsGo en contrôle 🚨

3-1 Montreal after 40 minutes, the Sabres have just 9 shots and that's largely thanks to a combination of two things: their PP has been atrocious, and the Habs PK has been great. Buffalo only had two shots in the 2nd, the Habs' second frame got a lot better lately #GoHabsGo No news on Dobson yet

OK … you have held the team playing a back-to-back to 9 SOG through two. Shut it down for one more period, bring it home #GoHabsGo

Nobody else in the league has a Lane Hutson! That 2022 draft class will forever shape this franchise!!!

#GoHabsGo!

Best 2nd period by the Habs in 2 YEARS!!

#GoHabsGo

The #Habs best 2nd in a long long time !

#GoHabsGo

#Anderson 🚨!

But that goal is all #Hutson. How does he receive that on his backhand up to his forehand?!?

All #Anderson has to do is 1-time it into the net.

#LetsGoBuffalo 1-3 #GoHabsGo

Meet the Josh Anderson as he whips a shot off a Hutson pass for a Montreal goal!

Some day, Josh Anderson will score a goal. (Today, the day is today.) #GoHabsGo

Power horse! #GoHabsGo

Bolduc sets this whole play up, Hutson with a nice shot & Josh Anderson finishes the job. 3-1 Canadiens with 40 seconds to go in the 2nd. #Canadiens #GoHabsGo

Hutson heads for the net and then feeds Anderson on the wing, one-timer goal, 3-1 Montreal #GoHabsGo
