Blemished

i see them now
as crazy bits
of biology

skin lesions that just
appear

apparently to horrify teenagers
who clearly
don't have enough on their minds

causing them wonder if they reflect
some deep defect
to all who see

and now my mind
manages that trick
without the red marks
