He hates his chest. HATES it. Usually it's not bad because he's got really good binders.

But when he's reminded of what's on his chest, it causes major anxiety.

In Book 3, Al is worried that Honore is bored and going to dump him, effectively. He's also aware of an unequal power dynamic, which puts him ill at ease.

He doesn't deal with this in the best way (gets mixed up in a cult, oops).

Renee is extremely worried about dying young. Her father died of a hereditary condition that she's convinced will take her too.

Nostriano is immensley socially anxious. He covers it with bravado and anger, but basically everything about complex social situations freaks him out

I’m still plotting so things are in flux, but Cammie fears being pulled back into her childhood (and/or turning into her mother), and Jeremy fears never being able to leabe the small town he grew up in.

I found a travel narrative from the US to Panama around 1920, written by the spouse of an engineer. It's the same route my character took, around the same year, working for the same engineering company. My goal is to do a close read and see what I can use from it to tell my story. #LGBTQWriteAThon
