Decided to make a gift for someone, and this pattern by CrossStitchByJade (www.etsy.com/shop/CrossSt...) was perfect.

Some of the colors were adjusted, as I had an exceptionally slim window and had to use what was on-hand.

Took me two solid days, totaling 13 to 15 hours.

I have started the Theresa Wentzler peacock tapestry pattern, in honor of my partner who left this world due to cancer. It was a pattern she purchased but never stitched.

Pattern is Peacock Tapestry by Theresa Wentzler. Part of the frame border is stitched in. Embroidery by Sidney Eileen.

This pattern was originally purchased by my partner some twenty years ago because she loved the design, but she never stitched it because she hated doing counted work, and it is a particularly complicated pattern. She lost her battle with cancer in March of 2026, and I am stitching this piece in her memory.
