"Too many people know too much about eachother" pg 17. This kind of goes back to my first thing I said about the reading regarding the village, everyone knows everything about everyone!!! #beingmassaged

Nevermind, i just read the next page and it is about nose counting. I got the point now!!! 😂😂😂 #beingmassaged

Mcluhan says that "Today's television child is attuned to up-to-the-minute "adult" news—inflation, rioting, war, taxes, crime, bathing beauties" pg 14, and it made me think about how different kids of 2026 are compared to kids of the late 1900's, and even the kids of the early 2000's. #beingmassaged

I read this and realized how DESENSITIZED we have become due to technology. Most of us, if this were on a survey would just answer it without thinking twice. #beingmassaged

The reading states "Our time presents a unique
opportunity for learning by means of humor" on page 10 and right when I read this I thought oaf a meme and I felt like I should share! IYKYK #beingmassaged

Genuinely what does this have anything to do with this section of the reading?? I dont see technology.
wait...as im writing this i realized it's talking about how becuase of technology they were able to reach so many around the world and fund 30 million toy trucks for kids. GOT IT!!!! #beingmassaged

You mean to tell me McLuhan is trying to say that something so simple as the alphabet is considered a technology????? #beingmassaged

He isn't wrong when he makes the claim that this new technology is truly causing us to reconsider every single aspect of our lives. It makes me wonder how much of a difference social media and technology creates in my life and whether I even realize it or not #beingmassaged

McLuhan called it a global village, and I thought that was extremely accurate because villages are small and everyone knows everything about everyone, almost exactly like how we share every little thing and everyone knows everything about our lives. #beingmassaged

When he started mentioning how “television wont work as a background” I disagreed with him at first. I would put shows on for background all the time, but then I realized any time I did that it was with shows or movies I’ve watched before so I wouldn’t have to actually pay attention. #beingmassaged

"Art is anything you can get away with" I'm guessing this applies to the painting that's just a red square because sometimes I wonder how some art is considered "art" but again who am I #beingmassaged

On every social media app, people love spreading rumors about each other or celebs. I don't know how many posts I've seen of people act as if they know a certain celebrity just from a 5 second clip. There are people bashing them while others are protecting them, it really is like war #beingmassaged

the man with the briefcase and suit, surfing is how I feel in my everyday life when there are obstacles in my way and I'm trying to enjoy my day #beingmassaged

the most positive thing about today's media is that we can help one another and change the world for the better. #beingmassaged #community

every time i get asked "who am I?". My mind tends to spiral, especially during an interview because as I grow I change as a person so.... who am i?! #beingmassaged

"Only the hand that erases can write the true thing"

My interpretation of this is that you are the only person who can fix your mistakes and grow as a person. You are your best influence #beingmassaged #quote

This made me start thinking, "Couldn't they have chosen a different name" why did they chose that name specifically, out of the millions of better names. #beingmassaged #questionmark

Because I’ve grown up with TV I’m just used to a world where everything is televised. I never realized how big of a deal it was back then to have major events televised, like JFK’s funeral. It definitely started to foster an even greater sense of connection between people. #beingmassaged #JFK

Immediately thought of AI when I read this. AI has had a significant impact on many things, especially the job market, which requires a lot of people to learn how to adapt and work with AI to use is as a tool. #beingmassaged #AI

I love to see the picture screen and the sound because both are important when it comes to movies. I could never just enjoy a movie without sound or without images. The best movies always have a good soundtrack and picture. For example- Project Hail Mary and Shrek #beingmassaged #Ilovemovies #peak
