Interesting how the propellors look still, but they were spinning around to get us from Edinburgh to Dublin.

Looking out the plane window, can see the green propeller of the little aircraft. Down below are fields and housing, and in distance a strip of water with a bridge with white cable supports resembling harp strings (Queensferry Crossing Bridge).

A large invasive gold colored beetle climbs a newly open blue flower petal from a blooming Bigleaf hydrangea. Although the Oriental beetle sports big front pinchers, they are in no way dangerous to human or pets. Unfortunately, they are highly destructive in larva and adult form, often leaving in their wake small holes that puncture the perfect bloom. All that said, the grub form feeds on the root systems so best to focus underground to curb their invasive cycle.
