I needed to get myself back into the game, so I gave her a finger wag I’d rehearsed. Other hand on my hip. Mock stern. Like a fucking teapot.

New novel Idea. Making a skeleton outline of the plot and main characters now. The final vision is a long way away, but the gods of autumn have granted me the sight.

Highlight reel from my book launch! More like a blooper reel really, without context these answers are hilarious.

I wrote 2414 words today. While I'm very happy about coming close to finishing up this draft, there is a kernel of doubt in my mind that it's maybe not all I wanted it to be. I just hope I can squash that feeling during editing.

This #WritingPrompt sets the start of the story/poem for you. You can reword it, but start with someone watching a funeral from a distance. Consider Who are they? Why are they there? How do they know the deceased? Good Writing. #WritingSky #QueerWriters
Restarted work on the next planned book, a collection of short stories. Have 2 out of 10 completed already.
Now gonna slowly start building momentum on this while I'm waiting on emails for the first. #writingcommunity #writingsky #booksky

Nothing
Maybe it's my AuDHD but I can only focus on one thing at a time. Too many noises/sounds happening at once gives me a little sensory overload & my mind gets unfocused.
I have just 2 chapters left on my first draft! I'm so excited! The hardest part has always just been getting the ideas down on paper first. Well, it's been a year and a half and almost 100k words later but I'm feeling very proud of how far I've come.
