#FantasyIndiesSeptember 9. What magic or superhero powers would you/your MC choose to have?
I think Brae and I would both choose to be able to fly. IRL, I don't think I need to explain why 😂 *cries in $37 for a full tank of gas*

#FantasyIndiesSeptember 8. Would/does your MC like school? Favourite subject(s)?
Just like most kids, I think Braelyn would like school if people *cough* Velimiar *cough* weren't there bullying her. Favorite subject would be music.
Day 14. Lessons learned in WIP.
People learn not to lie.

In “Love Abides”, Arlise comes to realize she isn’t as alone as she thought after her husband’s death. His love for her continues to shape who she is, what she does, and the world around her.
14: Lessons learned in WIP
In Bloodmaster #4, Lina's going to get another one about unintended consequences.
Day 14 of #FantasyIndiesSeptember
In my Oracle of Delphi series WIP, the Pythiai have sometimes learned (the hard way) to never trust the Priests of Apollo; they're not their friends.

12. Pass on Snippet (for now)
13. How organized are your characters/you?
Esmee is extremely organized. Some would say she's a bit particular about things. She can be a lot like me. I like things to have a spot and be properly organized so it's accessible
14. Well, in a different story (a prequel I'm planning), Gwydion learned how to be ruthless.
In Bonds of Honor, Toma learns that revenge isn’t as fulfilling as he believes it will be.
He also figures out that, while honor has its place in one’s life, it becomes so much more better when you have something you truly wish to protect.
#FantasyIndiesSeptember Day 14: Lessons learned in WIP. People and situations are not always what they appear to be. Don't assume; don't be too quick to trust. #WritingCommunity
#fantasyindiesseptember Day 14 Lessons Learned
Dragon Flame has lots of themes of found family and learning to bloom where you're planted. It's been really lovely to write, as I'm enjoying the journey my characters are on (plus all the dragons and the fall themes!)
#FantasyIndiesSeptember 14 - Lessons Learned
I learned to lean into what I find funny and the vibes I enjoy, instead of fighting to make it more serious. Those are both things my few readers have praised.
Also, planning less led to several of my favorite scenes.

There are some harsh lessons for Kit in BREAK POINT, which have series-wide ramifications. For myself, I learned with this book you can tell any story you want in indie publishing. You have enormous freedom to experiment, and you should. #booksky 💙📚🪐
#FantasyIndiesSeptember Day 14
My characters are learning that the world is much more complicated than they've been led to believe. And that it's also a lot less perfect than they've been taught it is.
Aloe/TFTNG - It DOES take a village to make change. There are different types of helpers. Even when things are dire, you can hold on to hope.
Such Sweet Sorrow - Not everyone has your best intentions in mind. Grief is a strange and powerful thing.
#FantasyIndiesSeptember Day 14
How far will you go for those you love?
#FantasyIndiesSeptember
Day 14
There will be lessons about trust, survival, and being true to yourself. That makes it sound kind of wholesome, but it's not!

14. Lessons learned in WIP
My main takeaway so far has been to let it go now and again. You don't always need a clear plan. As long as you're having fun, it'll all work out #fantasyindiesseptember
13. How organized are you?
Ehhh. I try to be, but it doesn't always work out. I feel I'm fairly organized irl, so I tend to end up being a bit disorganized in my writing life. #fantasyindiesseptember
